This collage piece on a canvas board uses found objects such as bottle caps and a broken mirror to convey the chaos of the city.  I was inspired by the idea of the subway.  Large cities are romanticized, but they have an entire underground city with an entirely different feel. Every person there is trying to get to another place as quickly as possible. I think it is a sort of snapshot portrait of the hospitality a city can have.
