This mixed media piece uses acrylic, puff paint, ink, thread, and cutouts. I called this piece DriveIn because of the vibrant colors. They remind me of the neon lights you would see outside of old diners. To me, that vision of people hanging their heads out of windows, eating popcorn under the bright lights of a movie or a diner sign, is a classic visual for what life was like before technology reached younger generations
